Building Defects Report / Warranty Inspections

Homeowners often ask, “What happens if something goes wrong with our new build?” This is why warranties exist and why a building defects report delivers peace of mind. You want to get what you paid for and enjoy your new property now and for years to come.

A warranty inspection usually occurs during the warranty period (usually 12 months) after construction is complete. A defects inspection report identifies any discernible defects in the work. You can present this building defect report to the builder and request that the builder fix these problems under their guarantee obligations. We recommend obtaining a builder’s warranty report before anything becomes irreparable or which is no longer covered under the warranty agreement.
